Celebrate the National Day with The Moldau, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G and Kodály’s Dances of Galánta.
On Sunday, July 20, we celebrate the National Day with a free concert. This classical music concert is organized by the Queen Elisabeth Competition, in collaboration with the Belgian National Orchestra and Bozar.
The soloist is pianist Hannes Minnaar, winner of the Third Prize at the 2010 Queen Elisabeth Competition. He will be accompanied by the Belgian National Orchestra under the baton of Antony Hermus. The concert opens with The Moldau from My Country by Bedřich Smetana. Hannes Minnaar will then perform Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G. The orchestra will conclude the concert with Dances of Galánta by Zoltán Kodály.
Thanks to the players of the National Lottery and the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
We are sorry but all tickets for the 2025 concert have been sold out. Reservations are now closed.
