On September 18, the BNO and Bozar took on a bold challenge: bringing dance, music, and space together in a one-of-a-kind concert-performance. For this new edition of Staging the Concert, the BNO’s string section took over both the stage and the orchestra pit of the Henry Le Bœuf Hall, alongside dancer Maïté Minh Tâm Jeannolin and conductor Jessica Cottis, under the artistic guidance of choreographer Radouan Mriziga.

At the heart of the experience, the mesmerizing pulses of John Adams’ Shaker Loops enveloped the audience, seated around the performance space, in an intimate, vibrant, and immersive atmosphere. Subtle lighting effects completed the transformation, turning the evening into a fully sensory experience.
