Hello everyone,
Our final concert has come to an end and was met with warm applause — all the more special because, for this last performance in Korea, we had a Korean conductor! Our principal conductor, Antony Hermus, couldn’t be there for the closing concert, so we were led by a local maestro, Hankyeol Yoon, who did a fantastic job! It was a challenge for both him and the orchestra, but we rose to the occasion brilliantly.
The concert halls that impressed me the most were, of course, the one in Seoul, but also the beautiful hall in Goyang. Both are stunning venues with exceptional acoustics! All in all, it was a wonderful tour, with excellent concerts in truly remarkable halls.
For my first time in Korea, I’m really happy and grateful. Both the Korean and Belgian teams worked incredibly hard to make sure everything ran smoothly — and it was a real success. A big thank you to all involved!
On that note, I’ll say goodbye for now, dear readers, and I look forward to seeing you very soon at our upcoming concerts in Belgium!
Edouard
