3rd kindergarten and 1st grade primary education
What are the secrets of a great symphony orchestra? In this activity, preschoolers and first grade elementary students are immersed in a world where violins sing, trumpets blare and conductors set the beat while dancing.
First stop: the Musical Instruments Museum where students learn about different orchestral instruments. They also playfully experience what it is like to play together under the direction of a conductor. Then it's time for the real thing and the students walk to the concert hall, where they attend a rehearsal of the Belgian National Orchestra in Bozar's great concert hall.
With the accompanying frame letter, this musical outing becomes even more special.
