Rino Yoshimoto

The 20-year-old Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto has captivated audiences all over the world. In 2019 she made solo debuts at Carnegie Hall and the Wiener Konzerthaus. She has an extensive repertoire and has performed with orchestras in Japan, China, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, the USA and Italy.

In 2021 she made her solo debuts in the Konzerthaus with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. In 2022, she made a successful tour to Spain with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra as a soloist. In 2022 she made her debut at the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna.

Rino Yoshimoto is currently student of Prof. Michael Frischenschlager and Prof. Augustin Dumay.

Known for her phenomenal musicianship, she is a prize winner of numerous international violin competitions. Just to name a few:
•    16th Padova International Music Competition “Premio Citta Di Padova”
•    Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition 2022
•    2020 Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition.

She is currently a substitute member of the Vienna Staatsoper Orchestra and was a 2020/2021 Rohm Music Foundation scholarship recipient (Japan). Now, she receives a scholarship from Mr. Heinz Schinner in Vienna.

Rino Yoshimoto plays on the Stradivarius (1736) « Muntz » loaned to ber by the Japan Music Foundation.
