From 6 to 8 February 2026, the BNO and its chief conductor Antony Hermus shine a spotlight on Hungarian composer Béla Bartók, with two dedicated programmes: one exploring his folk-inspired music, the other celebrating his major masterpieces. Discover the full programme of the Bartók Festival at Bozar here.
Friday evening brings together folk and classical traditions with violinists Tcha Limberger and Simone Lamsma. Expect a concert full of surprises, with Transylvanian and gypsy flavours, featuring works such as the Dance Suite and the Violin Rhapsody No. 1.
Across this concert, Antony Hermus and Simone Lamsma present Bartók’s most powerful works, including the Violin Concerto No. 2, a cornerstone of the repertoire, and the iconic The Miraculous Mandarin.
