MORE INFORMATION

Igor Morozov graduated from Moscow State Choir College of Sveshnikov and continued his musical studies at the Academy of the Choral Art of Viktor Popov in Moscow.

While a student and member of the academic ensemble, he has already worked under the baton of renowned conductors such as Christian Thielemann, Saulius Sondeckis, Jan Latham-Koenig, Kurt Masur, and Johannes Prinz among others.

Other highlights include solo-recitals in France and Germany and his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow as a guest soloist in Der Rosenkavalier conducted by Vassily Sinaisky.

Christmas concert : Het Sneeuwmeisje

In 1873 gaf het Bolshoi-theater Alexander Ostrovsky de opdracht voor dit toneelstuk. Op zijn beurt nam hij Tsjaikovski onder de arm voor de muziek. Die slaagde er perfect in de magische kerstsfeer van het verhaal van het Sneeuwmeisje te scheppen.
