In concert, Igor performed Messenger in The Demon (La Monnaie Brussel, cond. M. Tatarnikov), Mozart’s Requiem and Young Gipsy in Aleko (Russian National Orchestra, cond. M. Pletnev), Chekalinsky in The Queen of Spades (Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, cond. Vl. Fedoseyev), Jew in Salome (Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra of Russia, cond. Vl. Jurowski), Hervey in Anna Bolena (Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic, cond. Marco Zambelli), Sinodal in The Demon alongside Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Moscow Philharmonic Hall), tenor part in Requiem by Saint-Saëns (Russian National Orchestra, cond. M. Pletnev).
Igor Morozov graduated from Moscow State Choir College of Sveshnikov and continued his musical studies at the Academy of the Choral Art of Viktor Popov in Moscow.
While a student and member of the academic ensemble, he has already worked under the baton of renowned conductors such as Christian Thielemann, Saulius Sondeckis, Jan Latham-Koenig, Kurt Masur, and Johannes Prinz among others.
Other highlights include solo-recitals in France and Germany and his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow as a guest soloist in Der Rosenkavalier conducted by Vassily Sinaisky.
