The Queen Elisabeth Competition is a household name at home and abroad. Since its establishment in the 1930s, the competition has grown into one of the most prestigious reference for up-and-coming musical talent in the classical music world. Recently, editions are not only organised for violin, piano and voice, but also for cello.

In 2022 it will be time again for cellists from all over the world to compete for the coveted Queen Elisabeth Competition prizes. Find out at this Laureates’ Concert which participants emerged as winners!

The Laureates’ Concert is conducted by the Norwegian conductor Eivind Aadland. He was principal conductor and artistic director of the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra for a long time and is now principal conductor and artistic director of the Australian Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
